A few things have changed over the years, but the love for this beautiful stretch? Stronger than ever. The community has grown up a bit without getting too big for its flip-flops.

With longtime local businesses and plenty of energy, Seagrove keeps its oomph while staying true to what makes it special.

Seagrove sits along Scenic Highway 30A, with Seaside as its neighbor just to the west. That puts you close to Seaside’s shops, restaurants, and beach-town buzz, while Seagrove itself keeps things a little quieter, a little more residential, and very much its own thing. Close enough. Quiet enough.
WHERE OLD FLORIDA STILL LIVES.
Long before Seagrove was a 30A favorite, this was a small Gulf community of cottages, the Seagrove Hotel, and a general store where locals could grab what they needed. In 1949, C.H. “Cube” McGee opened that store, now home to Seagrove Village Market. Different days. Same Seagrove.
FOR THE LOVE OF NATURE.
Seagrove has plenty of wild Florida in the mix, too. Dune lakes, pine forests, wetlands, and old-growth trees surround Seagrove. Nearby Deer Lake State Park, Point Washington State Forest, and Eastern Lake offer plenty of ways to get outside and explore. In other words, there’s more to Seagrove than sand and sunshine.
