About Watersound

You’ve arrived. Watersound has that VIP-lounge feel, minus the velvet rope. Thoughtful planning, distinctive architecture, great beaches, and a relaxed coastal setting give this stretch of 30A a personality all its own. The boardwalks are pretty special, too. And yes, you’re allowed in.

RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT

Central, yet secluded. Easy to get to, but hard to say goodbye. Just off 30A between Seacrest Beach and Seagrove, Watersound puts you close to Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Seaside, and other 30A favorites. But let’s get real here. Once you settle in, leaving can feel like a pretty unnecessary decision. Consult your crew.

NEW KID ON THE 30A BLOCK

A bona fide “late bloomer,” the community began taking shape in the early 2000s. Maritime-inspired architecture and a carefully planned layout give it a distinctive look and feel. Turns out, being fashionably late worked out pretty well. Looks like the best came last.

Did you forget where you parked? No problem. You won’t be needing that thing until later. Much later. Walking is one of the best ways to explore. Follow the boardwalks, wander the community, or head toward the beach and see where the day takes you. No itinerary required. Your car can take the morning off.

Watersound Beach and Watersound West Beach are separate areas, and amenities vary by property. Some rentals include community pool access. Private Watersound Beach Club access is separate and only available with certain rentals. Check your home’s specific amenities before you arrive. Then head straight to the good part.
