After meeting in college, the co-founders of Oversee wrote a business plan in their MBA class.
Upon graduation, they drove down to the beach and started their business in 2011.
Using a bedroom for an office, the first property they managed was owned by “Mom”.
(They still manage it today.)
From day one, they put their plan to action, favoring a straightforward, personal approach, meaning their guests and homeowners would get consistent, reliable service. It’s a strategy that paid off.
They now have 170 homes, and attribute their growth to word of mouth.

When Spencer isn’t providing valuable rental information to both new and current homeowners, he spends much of his time with Rusty and River, his two dogs. Whether on a hunt, at a hidden fishing hole, or relaxing in the Florida sunshine, you will often see the three together always ready for their next adventure.
When he’s not making Oversee the most honest and committed vacation rental management company on 30A, Michael spends his time with his daughter, son, and wife. He enjoys working out, biking the paths along 30A, and growing his vegetable garden.
Daniel grew up vacationing on the Emerald Coast. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, became a property manager for Oversee, and now is our Senior Director of Operations. When Daniel isn’t improving Oversee, he enjoys time with his wife and daughter, golfing, and going to the beach.
Carol’s experience spans over 40 years, previously serving as the CFO of brokerage, banking, and telecommunications companies. Outside of work, Carol is a certified fitness instructor and enjoys biking, hiking, cooking and loving her dogs.
When Andrew isn’t improving Oversee’s innovation in IT, and helping steer their marketing, he continues to build their in-house software. He’s also built a wonderful family and enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and daughter.
After years of vacationing on the Emerald Coast, Danny and his family made the area their home. He began his Oversee career as a cleaner and has steadily climbed ever since. An active listener, Danny is empathetic, and a great problem solver.
Passionate about hospitality, Crystal started working with vacation rentals when she was 15. She began with Oversee early on and has helped us grow ever since. Crystal loves spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, being outdoors, and relaxing at the beach.
Paul has been an idea guy, and copywriter, for over 25 years in the ‘ad biz’. Now he enjoys focusing his skill on a single company, not dozens. And when he’s not crafting words for Oversee, Paul invests valuable time making his daughter laugh.
Whether it be a beach lifeguard or a TV producer, James has always had a camera by his side. But once he became inspired by the Emerald Coast, shooting 30A became his main focus. James also enjoys taking pictures of his wife and two dogs.
