The sunroom and outdoor lounge are made for unwinding, whether it’s morning coffee with a view or dinner with a backdrop that steals the show.
The kitchen, dining, and living areas serve up more of those stunning Gulf views, along with plenty of space to relax.
Just off the living room, two bedrooms feature more incredible views. A guest room with two twin beds, and a gorgeous primary suite.
Down the hall, a cozy sitting room, with a pull-out sleeper sofa and a bathroom, leads out to the spacious pool area. There’s also another guest room, with 2 twins, and lastly, a second, plush primary bedroom. Enjoy!

The 3rd Annual Mullet Run/Walk 5k encourages participants to don their best mullet attire and join in the fun. The race begins at 4 PM on Sunday, September 28th, starting and finishing at The Deck at Destin Brewery. An after-party will feature beer and snacks for all runners, with additional food and drinks available for purchase. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume and best mullet. All proceeds from the event benefit The Destin History & Fishing Museum, an organization dedicated to preserving, documenting, and sharing the history of the fishing village founded on the sandy shores of East Pass in the 1830s.

Guests can enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and live music featuring the Tim Roberts Band from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Local Catch Bar & Grill offers a casual dining experience with robust flavors in a lively setting. It is open daily for lunch, dinner, and drinks on Scenic 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, situated slightly east of Gulf Place at Highway 393. Patrons are encouraged to follow their social media channels for updates on happy hour, daily specials, and information regarding music and events.

The weekly music calendar features Lori Ubowski on Mondays, Joey Shaling on Tuesdays, and Timmy Hood on Wednesdays.

This adults-only (21+) presentation will feature an edited collection of the weekend’s most high-profile automobiles, showcased with specially crafted cocktails, beverages, and culinary creations stationed along Alys Beach’s picturesque South Charles Street. A festive gathering of food, beverage, and live music will also take place on Gulf Green. This all-inclusive evening will be a celebration of rare and exciting automobiles, with limited tickets available. Saturday, October 4th | 1-4 PM: The Main Event. Cars of 30A will present the full, highly curated collection of rare high-performance automobiles along the meandering streets of Alys Beach. The show will wind around the north side of Alys Beach and around Lake Marilyn, featuring specialty collections along the cobblestone roads, interspersed with live music and stations offering food and beverages for purchase. A Central Park gathering will also feature food trucks and beverage stands, live music, and lounge seating around the afternoon’s games on the big screen. This experience is designed to offer fun for the whole family, providing inspiration and excitement for both avid auto enthusiasts and novices alike.

Family Ties was the perfect house for two families on fall break. Kitchen is very well stocked. Bikes were great and well maintained. Beach View was incredible and perfect for watching the sunset!

Our stay was amazing! It is right on the beach and within walking/biking of restaurants and shopping We got a flat tire while biking and they were there to repair within the hour! Ten of us fit perfectly and the kitchen is well stocked for any cooking need ! Highly recommend!

We gifted the week long trip to our two children and their families for Christmas (2023). Everyone said it was the best week and best vacation their had ever had. The location was SPOT ON and we all enjoyed a relaxing week together as a family. LOVED the bikes and riding down to Seaside. We have not ridden bikes in years but had a blast.
We are considering renting the same house for another trip next year, since we like give “memories” instead of gifts for Christmas and birthdays.

We or other family members have stayed in this property many times over the years and have seen it develop from a simple un-airconditioned beach house from the late 1960’s to the enlarged and attractive remodeled version it is today. Over the years the many improvements have made our family stays more relaxing and enjoyable and this year was no different. We have already rented it for our family vacation again next year.

Overall, my family was very pleased with home. Great location and very clean and modernized. One issue we had was there were 8 of us but only room for 7 to sit on couch, love seat and chair. Not a big deal but noticeable. Pool and bikes were in great shape and enjoyed. Couple all this with good communications with rental company and I can assure you we will be back.

Our vacation this summer was once again spent in the beautiful Family Ties. It is a lovely home with a beautiful view of the beach.
