STAY IN Panama City Beach
About Panama City Beach
27 miles! Yep, you read that right. 27 miles of gorgeous white sand beaches. That’s a massive stretch of beachy goodness hugging the Gulf’s turquoise waters, primed and ready for days packed with fun, sun, and adventure.
Fishermen, divers, this is your playground, with artificial reefs just waiting offshore. And the sunsets? No need to chase ‘em! The coast here naturally faces west, so just plop yourself down anywhere along the shore, and presto! Epic Gulf sunsets on repeat (weather permitting, of course).
And let’s not forget the state parks! St. Andrews and Camp Helen are ready for adventure. Toss in plenty of public beach access points, seafood fresh off the boat, and family-friendly spots like Shipwreck Island Waterpark, Race City, and even a sinking cruise liner (yep, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum). Panama City Beach isn’t just a family fave, it’s a must-do!
FROM 30A CHILL TO PCB THRILLS.
Just east of 30A in the Florida Panhandle, Panama City Beach is a wonderful complement to the quieter, more laid-back beaches to the west. Looking for adventure? Or relaxation? PCB delivers big on fun, while still offering easy access to the charm of 30A.
A CANAL, A PORT, A BOOM.
Panama City’s story begins during the Revolutionary War when it was a hub for industries like lumber and indigo farming. But in 1906, some sharp real estate minds saw an opportunity. They named the city after the Panama Canal to draw attention and by 1909, Panama City was official. With its prime spot as the closest U.S. port to the canal’s entrance, the area grew fast.
In the early 2000s, Panama City Beach got a major upgrade. Smaller beach cottages gave way to luxury homes and high-rise condos, welcoming even more visitors. While some of the old-school beachfront properties are harder to find, they’re still around—and they add to the mix of modern style and vintage Florida charm that makes PCB so special.
FUN, SUN, REPEAT.
Panama City Beach has that fun, upbeat Gulf Coast vibe, with something for everyone. Families, couples, and adventure lovers all flock here for the delightful mix of gorgeous beaches and non-stop attractions. While it still has some spring break energy, it has evolved into a more well-rounded vacation spot for all ages.
DOLPHINS. DUNES. AND DARING ADVENTURES.
Not just another pretty face, Panama City Beach, Florida, is an outdoor lover’s dream. Ready to switch things up? Try parasailing, jet skiing, dolphin tours, or reel in a big catch with some deep-sea fishing. With warm waters and vibrant marine life, this spot is a playground for water sports and beachside lounging alike.
Nearby, you’ve got St. Andrews State Park and Gulf World Marine Park, perfect for hiking trails, spotting wildlife, or just soaking in all the gorgeousness. And don’t miss Shell Island- a pristine slice of paradise only accessible by boat. Adventure awaits!
