Miramar Beach Vacation Rentals
STAY IN Miramar Beach
ABOUT MIRAMAR BEACH
You’re going to need a longer vacation! Sure, we’ve got white sand and emerald waters – it’s why we’re here – the issue is, there’s just too much going on! Perfect, you say? Great. Then let’s just hit the highlights so you can start planning a great, little (big, actually) getaway for your entire crew.
Put that beach towel on hold, and bask in the glory of non-stop adventure. Parasail with the gulls, snorkel at Dolphin Reef, or challenge your crew to beach volleyball. And that’s just day one! With world-class golf, luxury shopping at the outlets, a marlin fishing contest, and wine festivals, Miramar Beach puts a new twist on the picture-perfect 30A vacation.
GO WEST!
West side, baby! Miramar Beach is close enough to Destin for a quick trip, but far enough to keep things chill, while still providing plenty of non-stop action. It’s a great place to launch into shopping sprees at Silver Sands Premium Outlets or catching the buzz at Grand Boulevard.
NEW NAME, NEW DIRECTION
Before Miramar Beach, there was Shoals, Florida, a name even history buffs have forgotten! When the area was officially “renamed” on May 26, 1955, it had fewer than 200 residents. The first mayor chose “Miramar,” which translates to “Look at the Sea” in Spanish. Seems pretty fitting, right?
ARE YA FEELIN’ IT?
Easygoing, exciting, gorgeous. Miramar Beach has it all. Families dig the safe, welcoming feel, while luxury lovers love the stylish beachy homes and upscale dining. During peak season, the energy kicks up, so you and your crew can enjoy peaceful beach days and lively nights.
DOLPHINS & DUNE LAKES, OH MY!
Yowza! Miramar Beach is an absolute stunner. Soft, white sands and emerald waters give you a front-row seat to… a dolphin sighting? Magical! These magnificent creatures often make an appearance just off the shore. Now go wander! Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is home to several dune lakes(!) with miles of dunes and ancient forests.

The Glass Menagerie
Miramar Beach
The Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) is presenting Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie" for its 13th season, running from October 23 to November 2 at the ECTC stage in Grand Boulevard Town Center. This classic play centers on Amanda Wingfield, a former Southern belle who holds onto her past memories while striving for a better future for her family. She relies on her children: Tom, who desires freedom, and Laura, who is shy but seeks connection. The arrival of a "gentleman caller" disrupts their lives. ECTC Producing Artistic Director Nathanael Fisher notes that "The Glass Menagerie" endures because its themes of family, memory, and dreams resonate universally. These themes, reflecting life's challenges, hopes, and connections, remain relevant today. Performances are scheduled for Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., and Sundays and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m., at ECTC's theater located at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200, in Grand Boulevard Town Center. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early for pre-show drinks in the lobby and lounge, which displays artwork by local artists sponsored by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. Nathanael Fisher directs the production, with Rebeca Lake handling Set & Lighting Design, Taylor Walker responsible for Costume Design, Cailey Mize overseeing Sound Design/Engineering/Stage Management, Carl Hendin for Set Carpentry, Ora Wolfgram as Properties & Assistant Stage Manager, and Bella Fisher providing Production Assistance. The cast includes Anita ‘Jo’ Lenhart as Amanda Wingfield, Cara Chesney as Laura Wingfield, Tommy Thams as Tom Wingfield, and Logon Polson as Jim O’Connor. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office. Season subscription packages and VIP Memberships, offering perks such as premium seats, complimentary drinks, and access to exclusive events, are also available. ECTC's 2025–2026 season is supported by Grand Boulevard Town Center, St. Joe Community Foundation, Howard Group, and Jerry and Alice Zich. The Glass Menagerie
Miramar Beach
Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) continues its 13th season with Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie, running from October 23 to November 2. This celebrated American play will be performed on ECTC’s stage in Grand Boulevard Town Center. The story centers on Amanda Wingfield, a former Southern belle who holds onto her youthful memories while striving for a better future for her family. Caught between dreams and reality, Amanda relies on her children: Tom, who is restless and desires freedom, and Laura, who is shy, fragile, and longs for genuine connection. The arrival of a “gentleman caller” causes the Wingfields’ world to begin to fall apart. Nathanael Fisher, ECTC Producing Artistic Director, notes that The Glass Menagerie has endured because its themes resonate with everyone. Williams’ narrative beautifully portrays the complexities of family, memory, and the dreams that shape individuals, even when those dreams are elusive. These themes remain relevant today, reflecting the ongoing challenges, hopes, and relationships that define human lives. Performances are scheduled for Thursdays to Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. The intimate theatre is located upstairs at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200, in Grand Boulevard Town Center. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy pre-show drinks in the lobby and lounge, which features artwork by local artists, sponsored by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. The cast includes Anita ‘Jo’ Lenhart, who previously appeared in ECTC’s Always a Bridesmaid, as Amanda Wingfield; Cara Chesney as Laura Wingfield; Tommy Thams, last seen in ECTC’s Jersey Boys, as Tom Wingfield; and Logon Polson as Jim O’Connor, whose past ECTC credits include Jersey Boys, Mary Poppins, and other productions. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office. Season subscription packages are available for those who wish to attend all shows in ECTC’s largest season to date. The Glass Menagerie
Miramar Beach
Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) is continuing its 13th season with Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie, running from October 23 through November 2 at ECTC’s stage in Grand Boulevard Town Center. The play centers on Amanda Wingfield, a former Southern belle who is nostalgic for her youth while striving for a better future for her family. Caught between dreams and reality, Amanda depends on her children: Tom, who is restless and desires freedom, and Laura, who is shy, fragile, and longs for genuine connection. The arrival of a “gentleman caller” causes the Wingfields’ world to unravel. Nathanael Fisher, ECTC Producing Artistic Director, notes that “The Glass Menagerie has stood the test of time because it speaks to all of us. Williams’ story captures the beauty and heartbreak of family, memory, and the dreams that shape who we become even when they slip through our fingers. These themes remain just as important today, reflecting the challenges, hopes, and connections that continue to define our lives.” Performances are scheduled for Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., and Sundays and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m., at ECTC’s theatre located upstairs at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200, in Grand Boulevard Town Center. Patrons can arrive early for pre-show drinks in the lobby and lounge, which features artwork by local artists sponsored by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. Nathanael Fisher is directing the production, with Set & Lighting Design by Rebeca Lake, Costume Design by Taylor Walker, Sound Design/Engineering/Stage Management by Cailey Mize, Set Carpentry by Carl Hendin, Properties & Assistant Stage Manager Ora Wolfgram, and Production Assistance by Bella Fisher. The cast includes Anita ‘Jo’ Lenhart, returning from ECTC’s Always a Bridesmaid, as Amanda Wingfield; Cara Chesney as Laura Wingfield; Tommy Thams, last seen in ECTC’s Jersey Boys, as Tom Wingfield; and Logon Polson as Jim O’Connor, whose previous ECTC credits include Jersey Boys, Mary Poppins, and others. Tickets are available online or by calling the box office: (850) 684-0323. The play centers on Amanda Wingfield, a former Southern belle who holds onto her youthful memories while striving for a better future for her family. These themes continue to resonate with audiences, reflecting the ongoing challenges, hopes, and relationships in people’s lives.
Performances are held Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., and Sundays and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m., at ECTC’s theater located at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200, in Grand Boulevard Town Center.
