30A isn’t perfect.
But when it is, an unofficial schedule goes something like this:
Coffee on the porch. A flip-flop stroll to the sand. Pool by ten, lunch on a lounger, and a dinner in Rosemary Beach you can walk to. Around here, that’s not a dream, that’s your day. If you book the right spot.
Let’s make sure you do.
NOT EVERY SEACREST LOCATION FEELS THE SAME
Seacrest sits between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Great neighbors. But inside the community, not all addresses are equal.
“Way easy” is a mile away from “why did we bring so much stuff?” Three things matter here: How close you are to the pool, how you’re getting to the beach, and what you can walk to.
Get those right, and the rest takes care of itself.
POOL PEOPLE. BEACH PEOPLE. DINNER PEOPLE.
Near the pool. Most popular for a reason. Easy access, central location, easygoing energy. A little busier, but busy on 30A still feels pretty relaxed.
Closer to beach access. If the Gulf is the whole point, cut the rest. Quicker mornings, less tram-watching, more salt air. More sand and water. Best for beach-first travelers and shorter stays.
Near Rosemary or Alys Beach. Best for the foodies. You’re trading pool proximity for a five-minute walk to some of the best dinners on the coast. Oh… make reservations.
THE POOL. IT’S HUGE.
It’s 12,000 square feet of lagoon-style, fountain-fed, kids-have-lost-their-minds kind of fun. 30A’s largest pool and rumored to be Florida’s second largest.
For families, it’s the game-changer. Kids bounce between pool and beach. Evenings are easy. No one’s driving anywhere. It’s the unofficial headquarters of your trip.
Just remember: a “few blocks” on a map feels like a mile in the July humidity. Stay close.
LET’S GO TO THE BEACH. ON A TRAM.
The tram is your best friend. It’s free, it’s easy, and it carries the cooler you definitely overpacked. It runs during peak hours in season. Not all day, and not year-round.
Some homes are close enough to walk straight to the sand. In October, that’s totally dreamy. In August, under full Florida sun with beach gear? Take the tram.
NEARLY EVERYTHING’S WITHIN FLIP-FLOP DISTANCE
No car? For the daily stuff, no problem. Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, coffee, a solid dinner or two, all walkable from the right spot.
You’ll still want four wheels for Seaside, Grayton, or anything further west. But with the help of a golf cart, a bike, or just two feet, your daily rhythm can be car-free.
SO… WHAT KIND OF SEACREST PERSON ARE YOU?
Bringing kids? Stay near the pool. Beach is your religion? Go closer to beach access. Want great dinners without a car? The Rosemary/Alys edge wins. Just want quiet? The outer edges deliver. Simple.
JUST A FEW MORE THINGS
Book early. The ‘best’ locations go fast.
Ask us specific questions: distance to the pool, the tram, the nearest good taco. The details matter. We know these homes and neighborhoods.
And if you’re coming in summer, add a few mental minutes to every walking estimate. The heat is real.
