Individuals who believe they have the talent are encouraged to sign up and let their music be heard by participating in the Made in Walton County – Songwriters Showdown. This event, produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County with support from Watersound Town Center, offers a platform to showcase talent, share stories, and compete for cash prizes along with a guaranteed spot in the 17th Annual 30A Songwriters Festival scheduled for January 16-19, 2026.
Songwriters of all genres and ages are invited to perform their original music in front of a live audience at the Pavilion at Watersound Town Center on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Details and applications can be found on the #ArtMatters Blog, with a submission deadline of Thursday, March 13.
For those who enjoy live music, it is recommended to mark the calendar and join the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, arrive early to secure a spot, and cheer on their favorites while enjoying incredible live music and being part of a community that celebrates creativity. Winners will be announced at the end of the event.
Attendees are invited to bring a chair and enjoy this free, family-friendly event under the shade. A food truck will be available on site offering food and drinks for purchase.

Bringing a lawn chair or blanket is recommended to enjoy a beautiful day with friends and family. The live music schedule includes performances by Jessie Ritter, Stormfolk, and the Will Thompson Band. Food trucks, such as Taco30A, will be available. This event is free and open to the public.

This golf-themed event celebrates the world’s greatest golf tournament and supports vulnerable children in Northwest Florida. Attendees will enjoy a menu inspired by the tournament, golf-related activities, signature cocktails, music, and a live Calcutta.
