The Dutch Mountain

Spacious for our entire family, and very clean. We could park a truck and an SUV in the driveway. Walking distance to the pool (very close). Beds were super comfy. Not walking distance for us to the beach but close to public beach access.

This was exactly what my family and I were looking for for our beach vacation! The Dutch Mountain home was cozy, very clean, and the beds were so comfy! It was the a good proximity to many restaurants, the beach, and grocery store. We especially loved getting to use the community pool! The Oversee team were very quick with communication and able to answer all our questions and resolve any issue promptly. I would highly recommend staying here!

The house was just as beautiful and comfortable as I imagined from the photos online. Kitchen was equipped with everything you could need and more. The house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. Wonderful porch swing to lounge in with a good book. Fantastic Italian restaurant and delicious ice cream store a short walk to the front of neighborhood.

I spent three awesome weeks at this ‘home away from home’, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has everything you need, super well maintained, and even a fun deck with BBQ. Close to the beach and restaurants!

We have just spent an awesome week in Santa Rosa Beach. The Dutch Mountain unit is not a luxurious one but it has everything we needed during our stay. It was very very clean The best thing about it is it’s location. We have used the bikes a lot, as the area has a nice long pave trail that goes along the road. It is literally 5 min from the beach…and what a beach!…white and fine sand.I would recommend it to everyone. We’ve just had a wonderful vacation there.

Great location from the beach and a very cozy stay

We had a great time! Carolyn was so helpful- quick responses to the few questions we had. The house was super clean and the beds were so comfortable! Loved having the bikes to go to beach and we tried 5 different ice cream spots! My only recommendation would be to have a basket for at least one if the bikes… We would definitely stay here again- thank you for a much needed break!

The Dutch Mt was everything we needed. Clean and uncluttered. Decorated in relaxing neutral colors. Staying with another adult couple, we desired a rental similar to a house with two master suites. This house fit our needs. We wanted an active vacation with the ability to walk to the beach and a few eateries, access to hiking and biking trails and close to a grocery store. Being off the main road, it was nice and quiet. We would definitely like to stay here again.

We had a great time as always. Having spent two weeks for the sixth year in a row. This property is convenient, secure, clean and just the right size for us. Everything is very well kept and the management team is very responsive.

This house was perfect for my family of 4. It was clean and spotless. We found the amenities to be top hotel quality. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The property management company gave excellent service. They responded promptly to our requests and questions. We loved the proximity to Blue Mountain beach. Just a short 5 minute bike ride. Although the kitchen had all equipment needed to prepare meals, there are no spices (not even salt & pepper) which is understandable given COVID-19. So be prepared to bring your own. We plan to return next time we visit the area.

My family and I had a great first week of our annual summer vacation at Blue Mountain Beach. We’ve vacationed in the area the last 4 years but Dutch Mountain was by far our favorite! The home was a perfect distance from the beach and had all of the amenities we could have wanted or needed.

We spent a couple of weeks in this cabin, fifth year in a row. We love it, always spotless, very well decorated and equipped, and with easy access to many beaches.

We loved The Dutch Mountain! The house was clean and well stocked with towels, sheets, blankets and the kitchen had ample supplies for cooking, baking and serving. The location was close enough to the beach access for a short drive down to drop off chairs, umbrellas, etc. and was an easy bike ride as well. Enough room for two families. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great clean beach place but a hike to beach. We knew this upfront. This hone was very quiet and peaceful! Loved it! Could wash down our jet ski! Bring your own toilet paper though you will run out in 2 Days. Note for owner!!

Property was as described, clean upon arrival except sand under rugs (it’t the beach so not a biggie), very quaint and peaceful neighborhood, excellent management/customer service (love the app), would highly recommend Oversee rentals and this property to friends.

The house was very well accommodated, well stocked. We enjoyed our stay. The decor was exactly as pictures showed. It was great!

Once again, this rental has made us feel like at home. Convenient location in a quiet area, family friendly and with everything we need. The unit was very clean and equipped as always.

My family and I spent 4 days here for spring break and it was everything we wanted. The village was very quiet and peaceful. The beach was less than 1/2 mile away which was really nice. We will definitely be back to rent with Oversee!

We enjoyed our stay at the Dutch Mountain. It was the perfect size for my husband and me. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and small appliances and we did eat in a few nights. The beds are comfortable as well is the sofa and chairs in the living room. We also used the washer and dryer and they worked great. It was very nice that they provided a few HE detergent pods so I didn’t have to go buy any. We did need to call about a couple of light bulbs that were out, but Oversee was very responsive and came over the same morning to fix. I would definitely rent this house again it is just around the corner from the beach access at Blue Mountain.

Fantastic customer support staff. Easy access to rental and close proximity to beach. Clean, comfortable, functional 100% satisfied and will use Oversee for our next trip!

We really enjoyed this house. We were on a property search, vacation, and business trip combined. It was so cute, clean, livable, and it gave us a taste of what we were looking for in properties. Area was quiet and we really enjoyed the deck at night.Would have been nice if the propane tank for the grill was full but for our short stay it wasn’t worth purchasing an exchange.

This was my second year and we love it!

We loved The Dutch Mountain! The home was beautiful and decorated well. It was clean upon arrival and ready with everything we needed for our stay. The location was great. You can walk to the nearest beach from the location or ride the bikes provided. The property is located in a quiet, secure community. All of the neighbors were very friendly. The community pool was a short walk and well maintained. Claire from Oversee was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have any problems at all during our stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house is adorable! Cute neighborhood! Gps is kind of confusing since it takes you to the back entrance that you can not access instead of the 30a entrance. The home was so clean and comfortable. Perfect for our stay! Not too far from the beach and the red bar in Grayton!

Really nice house. Very clean. Great location. We rode bikes to great places to eat and road bikes to the beach. We plan to go back every year. I cannot say enough about how good the property management company was. From moving my reservation to making sure I had directions and check in information they were phenomenal. Really top-notch service and the house was spotless.

The Dutch Mountain was a perfect get-a-way. The home felt spacious, the furnishings made you feel right at home. Loved the bikes and hanging out on the deck. The community and pool are beautiful and the quick trip to the beach and up and down the coast was great! Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Dutch Mountain property was great. The house was very well furnished and clean. My family was not disappointed at all. We had no trouble driving the 2 minutes to get to the beach every day. We would recommend the house to anyone.

My son and I enjoyed our stay very much. Oversee staff very accommodating and Scott was very easy to work with. The unit was clean and very well decorated with higher end furnishings. Great location and neighborhood. We will be back for another stay soon.

This rental was a great place for my family of five. It is conveniently located close to the beach, in a gated community, perfectly decorated, and very clean. We will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at The Dutch Mountain. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was a little farther than we anticipated but we made do with using the bikes.

We loved this place. It was great! We picked this over some other rentals or a condo because we have toddlers; we liked that it was all one story, and they didn’t have glass table tops, or other breakables lying around. The place was excellent and in impeccable shape. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, we only did this once (with little ones and tons of stuff to carry). If you don’t have a lot of baggage the walk (or by bike) is doable. If you do drive to the beach, by 9/9:30 you’ll have plenty of parking. The pool (very close walk!) is next to some apartment-type buildings, and it’s completely shaded in the afternoon hours. The only thing that had me worried is everything is white, white, white! I immediately put the down comforters in the closet (there is plenty of other covers on the beds- and the A/C works great!). The towels are all white – so if you expect messy kids bring some spare towels to clean with. Things you’ll need: cleaning spray, trash bags, dishwashing pods, laundry detergent, paper goods, etc. (They do leave a few of everything as a courtesy). Things I wish we knew they had: 2 beach umbrellas, several beach chairs (very light, backpack kind). If I could make any suggestion it would be to get a hotel-type slide lock on the inside front door. It has a lock but unlocks when you pull the handle – the kids were constantly opening the door to go outside. They LOVED the porch swing!!! Keep the gate code! You need a code for the gate and a code for the door. We couldn’t find ours and called the emerg phone # (it was a Saturday), they called us back within minutes and we were in! Great service!!!

Our stay was super comfortable and relaxing. This house was perfect for our family of five. It was carefree and easy from accessing the community to the front door, exploring on the beach cruisers in a less busy part of 30a-a perfect beach cottage-clean, well-furnished and cool.

We were presently surprised in this vacation rental! So clean, great location, everything we needed!!

Horseback riding was available nearby and the beach was not far.

WE LOVED OUR STAY SO MUCH, WE PLAN ON COMING BACK REAL SOON AND THIS WAS OUR SECOND STAY HERE AND IT IS JUST PERFECT! HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WATCHING THE DOLPHINS IN CHOC BAY!!

THIS HOME WAS PERFECT, WE ENJOYED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK THIS FALL! IF WE WERE PURCHASING A BEACH HOME AT THIS TIME WE WOULD DEFINATELY BUY THIS HOME!

This was one of the best expeierences we have had in the South Walton area. The management company was very efficient! We also loved the Mobile App, whick included check-in/out information as well as nearby activities, restaurants, etc. We found a resaturant that we didn’t know was there. It was great! I will definitely stay here again.
