Chef Joyce developed her renowned paella recipe in Spain, and she has since refined it over the years to incorporate a distinctive "panhandle flair." Every Wednesday at 9:30 AM, participants can join Ms. Sierra for story time, guided nature play, child-led learning, art, sensory exploration, movement, and yoga, fostering a connection with the earth and each other. Intro to Handbuilding

The pottery class, led by instructor Mary Kay, offers a beginner-friendly experience in hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction. Participants will learn in a relaxed studio environment, with all materials and tools provided. Upon completing the course, students can use the open studio for hand building. Wheel use is restricted to students who have completed the necessary courses. The class consists of five sessions: Wednesday, September 17; Thursday, September 18; Thursday, September 25; Thursday, October 2; and Thursday, October 9. Classes run from 5-7 pm and are open to ages 16 and up. The cost is $200 for members and $220 for non-members. The sign-up deadline is Wednesday, September 16. The refund policy states that all classes, workshops, and series are non-refundable. Refunds are typically issued only for unforeseen circumstances involving the instructor or facility. If a student cancels due to illness, they may receive a partial refund, excluding instructor fees, at the discretion of the Center for the Arts. The Center for the Arts will contact individuals if a refund is to be issued.

The event will delve into a Super Series titled “Jesus Is,” exploring the identity of Jesus. While widely known as Savior and God, Jesus is also depicted in various creative ways throughout Scripture, such as a ladder, a shepherd, a servant, and a teacher. This super series will examine four depictions of Jesus and their implications for who He is to individuals. The sessions will be held on Wednesday nights in September from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and are open to students in 6th through 12th grades.

The gameday package includes access to a private dining room, a Touchdown Appetizer Platter, unlimited draft beer, and a big projector screen. Burger specials are available, with a burger and draft beer for $15, or two burgers and two beers for $22. 20th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation Check Presentation Ceremony

The Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) aims to unite wine enthusiasts to support children in need in Northwest Florida. After a successful fundraising year, the Foundation will provide funding to 16 local children's charities to address various critical community needs. The exact dollar amount each charity will receive will be revealed on stage on September 18 at an emotional event attended by over 300 guests, including sponsors, bidders, board members, and trustees who support DCWAF and its charities year-round. This check presentation will raise the total amount donated by DCWAF to local children's charities to over $38 million, marking 20 years of impact in Northwest Florida. The 12th Annual Hole in ONE Golf Tournament will benefit the ECAC Scholarship Fund and will be held at The Raven Golf Club in Sandestin. Due to the alarming and growing prevalence of autism, the Emerald Coast Autism Center (ECAC) is launching its 13th Annual "ONE Campaign". Each year, ECAC hosts two events, the ONE Run 5k and the Hole in ONE Golf Tournament, to raise support for their students. Proceeds from these events go directly towards the ECAC Scholarship Fund. Check-in for the golf tournament will begin at 7:30 AM, with tournament play starting promptly at 9 AM with a shotgun start in a scramble format. The goal is to achieve a cleaner and healthier coastline and to raise awareness about actions individuals can take daily to promote healthy beaches. The cleanup will take place at Sandestin beach, located at 4009 S. Sandestin Blvd., Miramar Beach, FL 32550. Refreshments and prizes will be provided after the cleanup, and attendees are requested to wear blue shirts for a group photo.

Performances are scheduled for Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., and Sundays and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. The theatre is located upstairs at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200, within Grand Boulevard Town Center. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy pre-show drinks in the lobby and lounge, which features artwork by local artists, sponsored by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.

Nathanael Fisher, ECTC Producing Artistic Director, notes that “Beautiful” is an uplifting story that shows how art can shape and connect people.
Performances are on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. at ECTC’s theatre, located upstairs at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200 in Grand Boulevard Town Center. Guests can arrive early for pre-show drinks in the lobby, which features artwork by local artists sponsored by Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.
The production is directed by Nathanael Fisher, with Trenton Bainbridge as Assistant Director. The creative team includes Rebeca Lake (Set & Lighting Designer), Emily Bainbridge (Choreographer), Tom Baroco (Music Director), Taylor Walker (Costume Designer), Gavin Young (Sound Engineer), Ora Wolfgram (Properties & Assistant Stage Manager), and Cailey Mize (Stage Manager).
