The event features a mix of country, pop, and singalongs ideal for a family night out. Christon Birge, born in Florida, hails from the small town of Vernon, located about 30 miles north of Panama City Beach. His deep country roots, combined with diverse musical influences, shape his distinctive sound. Whether performing original tracks like “Sunscreen on You” or covering songs by Sugar Ray, his music effortlessly crosses genres. Birge’s passion for songwriting and performing began early. At 15, he saved money from working on a watermelon farm to purchase a trick bike and a guitar. Since then, he has achieved significant milestones, such as winning the 2014 Tootsies Birthday Bash, where he opened for Kid Rock and Trick Pony in Nashville, TN, and becoming a finalist in the 2019 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam Southern Original. His latest studio release, “Best Friends Brings Beer,” showcases his versatility, blending beachy rock and roll vibes with his authentic southern twang. The track, filled with lyrics celebrating good times and friendships, has received international country radio airplay. When not performing along the 30A corridor at venues like The Big Chill 30A, Birge enjoys spending time on the beach, building custom parts for his Trans Am, or watching MMA.
