Miramar Beach Vacation Rentals
STAY IN Miramar Beach
ABOUT MIRAMAR BEACH
You’re going to need a longer vacation! Sure, we’ve got white sand and emerald waters – it’s why we’re here – the issue is, there’s just too much going on! Perfect, you say? Great. Then let’s just hit the highlights so you can start planning a great, little (big, actually) getaway for your entire crew.
Put that beach towel on hold, and bask in the glory of non-stop adventure. Parasail with the gulls, snorkel at Dolphin Reef, or challenge your crew to beach volleyball. And that’s just day one! With world-class golf, luxury shopping at the outlets, a marlin fishing contest, and wine festivals, Miramar Beach puts a new twist on the picture-perfect 30A vacation.
GO WEST!
West side, baby! Miramar Beach is close enough to Destin for a quick trip, but far enough to keep things chill, while still providing plenty of non-stop action. It’s a great place to launch into shopping sprees at Silver Sands Premium Outlets or catching the buzz at Grand Boulevard.
NEW NAME, NEW DIRECTION
Before Miramar Beach, there was Shoals, Florida, a name even history buffs have forgotten! When the area was officially “renamed” on May 26, 1955, it had fewer than 200 residents. The first mayor chose “Miramar,” which translates to “Look at the Sea” in Spanish. Seems pretty fitting, right?
ARE YA FEELIN’ IT?
Easygoing, exciting, gorgeous. Miramar Beach has it all. Families dig the safe, welcoming feel, while luxury lovers love the stylish beachy homes and upscale dining. During peak season, the energy kicks up, so you and your crew can enjoy peaceful beach days and lively nights.
DOLPHINS & DUNE LAKES, OH MY!
Yowza! Miramar Beach is an absolute stunner. Soft, white sands and emerald waters give you a front-row seat to… a dolphin sighting? Magical! These magnificent creatures often make an appearance just off the shore. Now go wander! Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is home to several dune lakes(!) with miles of dunes and ancient forests.

Foster Gallery Outreach Special Exhibit: Retro Americana
Miramar Beach
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is inviting its current member artists to submit up to three original works for consideration in an upcoming Foster Gallery Outreach Special Exhibit. This exhibit will be held at the Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) in Grand Boulevard Town Center. This special themed exhibition is scheduled to be on view in the ECTC lobby from February 3 through June 5, 2026, and is designed to complement ECTC’s Season 13 productions, Forever Plaid and Mystic Pizza. The exhibit and performances together aim to create an immersive cultural experience that celebrates nostalgia, music, and Americana storytelling. The exhibition's theme is "Retro Americana," which is described as a visual celebration of classic American culture. Artists are encouraged to submit original works inspired by this theme, exploring subjects such as diners, jukeboxes, classic cars, small-town life, vintage fashion, pop culture icons, and the feeling of the “good old days.” Submissions may also reflect on themes like memory, nostalgia versus reality, and reinterpretations of old photographs. The Foster Gallery was established by the CAA in 2016 to honor founder, artist, and educator Susan Foster, serving as a platform for local and regional artists. The CAA has since evolved The Foster Gallery into a Visual Arts Outreach Program, aiming to bring art into public and community-centered spaces throughout Walton County. Through this model, artists gain increased visibility and opportunities to exhibit and sell their work, connecting with broader and more diverse audiences beyond a single gallery location. The special exhibit at ECTC continues this mission by pairing visual art with live performance, inviting artists to be part of a unique, cross-disciplinary collaboration. The exhibit location is the Emerald Coast Theatre Company at 560 Grand Blvd., Ste 200 Upstairs, Miramar Beach, FL 32550. Artists are not required to work at the host location, but they must be current members of the CAA (membership is not restricted by location). Information on how to join the CAA is available online. The timeline for the event is as follows: The call to artists is from December 5, 2025, to January 20, 2026. Artists will be notified on January 23, 2026. Art delivery to ECTC is scheduled for January 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit opens on February 3, 2026, and an artist reception will take place on February 12, 2026, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The exhibit ends on June 5, 2026, with mandatory art pickup dates set for June 5 or 9, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The CAA looks forward to seeing the unique creations and celebrating the diverse talents of the creative community, noting this as an opportunity to showcase work and connect with fellow artists and art enthusiasts. To apply, artists are asked to study the criteria and submit an application online prior to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Foster Gallery Outreach Special Exhibit: Retro Americana
Miramar Beach
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is inviting current CAA member artists to submit up to three original works for consideration in an upcoming Foster Gallery Outreach Special Exhibit. This special exhibit will be displayed at the Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) in Grand Boulevard Town Center. The special themed exhibition will be on view in the ECTC lobby from February 3 through June 5, 2026. It is designed to complement ECTC’s Season 13 productions, Forever Plaid and Mystic Pizza. The goal is for the exhibit and performances to create an immersive cultural experience that celebrates nostalgia, music, and Americana storytelling. The theme is "Retro Americana." Artists are encouraged to submit original works inspired by a visual celebration of classic American culture. Submissions may explore diners and jukeboxes, classic cars, small-town life, vintage fashion, pop culture icons, and the feeling of the “good old days.” Artists are also asked to reflect on themes such as memory, nostalgia versus reality, and reinterpretations of old photographs. The Foster Gallery was established by the CAA in 2016 to honor founder, artist, and educator Susan Foster. It has served as a platform for showcasing local and regional artists. As the program has grown, the CAA evolved The Foster Gallery into a Visual Arts Outreach Program, bringing art into public and community-centered spaces throughout Walton County. Through this outreach model, artists gain increased visibility and opportunities to exhibit and sell their work while connecting with broader and more diverse audiences beyond a single gallery location. This special exhibit at ECTC continues that mission, pairing visual art with live performance and inviting artists to be part of a unique, cross-disciplinary collaboration. The exhibit location is the Emerald Coast Theatre Company at 560 Grand Blvd., Ste 200 Upstairs, Miramar Beach, FL 32550. Artists are not required to work at the host location, but they must be current members of the CAA (members do not have to be local). Information about joining the CAA is available online. The timeline for the exhibit is as follows: The call to artists is from December 5, 2025, to January 20, 2026. Artist notification will be on January 23, 2026. Art delivery to ECTC is scheduled for January 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit opens on February 3, 2026, with an Artist Reception on February 12, 2026, from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. The exhibit ends on June 5, 2026. Mandatory Art Pick up dates are June 5 or 9, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The CAA encourages artists to take this opportunity to showcase their work and connect with fellow artists and art enthusiasts. To apply, artists should study the criteria and submit an application online prior to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is inviting its current member artists to submit up to three original works for an upcoming Foster Gallery Outreach Special Exhibit. This exhibition will be held at the Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) in Grand Boulevard Town Center. The special themed exhibit will be on view in the ECTC lobby from February 3 through June 5, 2026, and is intended to complement ECTC’s Season 13 productions, Forever Plaid and Mystic Pizza. The goal is for the exhibit and performances to create an immersive cultural experience celebrating nostalgia, music, and Americana storytelling.
The theme for the exhibition is “Retro Americana,” which is described as a visual celebration of classic American culture. Artists are encouraged to submit original works inspired by elements like diners and jukeboxes, classic cars, small-town life, vintage fashion, pop culture icons, and the feeling of the “good old days.” Submissions may also reflect on themes such as memory, nostalgia versus reality, and reinterpretations of old photographs.
The Foster Gallery was established by the CAA in 2016 to honor founder, artist, and educator Susan Foster and has served as a platform for showcasing local and regional artists. As the program expanded, the CAA developed The Foster Gallery into a Visual Arts Outreach Program, bringing art into public and community-centered spaces throughout Walton County. This outreach model offers artists increased visibility and opportunities to exhibit and sell their work, connecting them with broader and more diverse audiences beyond a single gallery location. This special exhibit at ECTC continues that mission by pairing visual art with live performance, inviting artists to participate in a unique, cross-disciplinary collaboration.
The exhibit location is the Emerald Coast Theatre Company at 560 Grand Blvd., Ste 200 Upstairs, Miramar Beach, FL 32550. Artists are not required to work at the host location but must be current members of the CAA (membership is not limited to local residents).
The timeline for the exhibition is as follows: The call to artists is from December 5, 2025, to January 20, 2026. Artists will be notified on January 23, 2026. Art delivery to ECTC is scheduled for January 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit opens on February 3, 2026. The CAA encourages artists to showcase their unique creations and celebrate the diverse talents of the creative community, emphasizing the opportunity to connect with fellow artists and art enthusiasts. To apply, interested artists must study the criteria and submit an application online prior to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
