Four floors, one rooftop, and only 0.2 miles from private beach access, welcome to The Poppy House, just a five-minute walk to the sand. The home rewards people who like unique spaces, and lots of them: quiet corners for reading, open spaces for belly laughs, and a crow's nest at the top for the moments that call for a view, which is pretty much all of them.

That fourth-floor perch tends to become everyone's favorite spot (the community pools are the exception?). Reach it via the spiral staircase, settle onto the twin daybed, or step out onto the rooftop balcony. The seating is generous, the gulf views are wide, and the only debate is- oh, wait a sec, no debates up here, just viewing.

The layout across the lower three floors gives every guest somewhere to land. The first floor works as its own wing: a guest room with a king bed, a secondary living area with a triple bunk and queen sleeper sofa, and a sun-lit window nook, perfect for a book or a slow afternoon.

The second floor is where the house opens up.

A connected living, dining, and kitchen area spills out onto a large balcony with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating. Well-suited to a seafood dinner or a long, morning coffee.

The third floor handles the rest. A primary suite with a walk-in shower, double vanity, and a proper walk-in closet. A dedicated bunk room so the kids have their own territory. A second laundry area, because, well, laundry. It happens, even on vacation.

The Oversee 30A team is nearby every day, with a 24/7 line if anything needs attention. The Poppy House is ready when you are.

This summer, families can discover the rich history and secrets of Seaside through an original, interactive production titled The Great Seaside Treasure Hunt, presented by the Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) in partnership with SEASIDE®. The free, family-friendly performances take place every Monday at 6 p.m. at the Seaside Amphitheater through August 3, with a special morning performance scheduled for the Fourth of July from 9 to 11 a.m. Written by ECTC founders Anna and Nathanael Fisher, the play blends live theater with local history, following a cast of colorful animal characters. The lineup features Tex, a fast cattle dog from Dallas; Dolly, a singing Nashville Labradoodle; Peaches, a confident English Bulldog from Atlanta; and Bud, a dachshund serving as Seaside's earnest tour guide. The production is directed by Trenton Bainbridge, with set design by Rebeca Lake, costumes by Taylor Walker, and props by Ora Wolfgram. ECTC Producing Artistic Director Nathanael Fisher and Seaside Community Development Corporation General Manager Kevin Boyle both noted that the collaboration successfully combines entertainment and education, introducing families to the principles of New Urbanism and the unique heritage of the Seaside community.
