The Friends of Eden Gardens announce a series of family-friendly, spooky, classic films played on an outdoor screen under the oak trees at Eden Gardens State Park. This annual fundraiser, presented each October by the Friends of Eden Gardens, a Citizen Support Organization, assists the park with funding for various projects, events, and activities throughout the year. On October 16th, the film "Hocus Pocus" will be shown. The story follows a teenager who accidentally frees a coven of evil witches who once lived in the house. With the help of a magical cat, the children must steal the witches' book of spells to prevent them from becoming immortal. The film stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. The event is free with paid park admission. Films are shown on the lawn near the pavilion, and guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, bug spray, and coolers. The park also offers concessions with popcorn, candy, soda, water, and other beverages available for donations to support the park.

Concerts at The Landing are returning to downtown Fort Walton Beach this fall. The 2025 series will begin on September 15th with Block Eyed Blonde from 6-8 PM.
