Guided History Tour

Visitors can explore the history of Camp Helen State Park through a guided walking tour led by rangers. These tours occur on the first Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 11 AM, offering insights into the park’s Historic District, a site of national historical significance. The rangers provide engaging narratives about the stories that have shaped the area. Participants should meet at the Visitor Center and are advised to bring water and wear comfortable walking attire. Tours are conducted outdoors and may be canceled in case of bad weather. Camp Helen State Park is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, near the Phillips Inlet Bridge on the Bay County and Walton County line.
