Guided History Tour

Visitors can explore the history of Camp Helen through a guided tour at Camp Helen State Park. The ranger-led walking tour, held on the first Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 11 AM, provides an insightful look into the historic district of Camp Helen. Knowledgeable rangers share stories that have shaped this nationally registered historic place. The tour begins at the Visitor Center, and participants are advised to bring water and wear comfortable walking attire. Tours are conducted outdoors and may be canceled in case of bad weather. Camp Helen State Park is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, just west of the Phillips Inlet Bridge on the Bay County and Walton County line.
